Shimon Tayar Carpentry, founded in 1981, is located in Kfar Chassidim, near Haifa.
We receive orders from all over Israel. We specialize in using an architectural program to sketch drafts of our
proposed designs for our customers: institutions, businesses and private clients.
Small businesses and private clients can leave the planning to us and thus avoid the expense of
engaging the services of an architect.
Over the years we have become adept at incorporating a variety of substances into our artistically rendered projects.
We blend glass, steel, marble, stone, drop-forged metal and other materials into our carpentry designs.
We incorporate exclusive finishing techniques in some of our designs, including the creative use of paint,
drawings rendered on the furniture and engraving, among others.
Our clients receive a finished product that is the joint work of craftsmen skilled in various arts.
Shimon Tayar, founder of this distinctive enterprise,is involved in every step of the planning and
execution of the projects and is present at the installation of finished products.
Our experience of more than 25 years lets us offer our clients furniture and other items of wood crafted
to high professional standard with superior finishing techniques.
We are ready and willing, and even happy to produce items made of marble.
We regard the crafting of such items as a pleasant challenge, both in terms of creativity and in terms
of keeping to the work schedule.
Most of the orders that we receive for carpentry work in offices are for furniture which is on
display to the public, such as reception counters, meeting rooms and the manager's office.
When requested, however, we do design and manufacture office furniture, including work stations and
storage cabinets, particularly for small and mid-size projects.
In recent years, Shimon Tayar began to explore the myriad possibilities of sculpturing wood.
Enchanted by the charms of working with engraving and carving, he can give his imagination free
rein in fashioning unique and beautiful items. Boruch HaShem, the ideas are flowing…
